Festivals

The John’s Pass Seafood Festival is a celebrated event. For over 30 years, the Madeira Beach community, along with hundreds of volunteers, have made this one of the most popular seafood festivals in Florida.

The John’s Pass Seafood Festival is a non-profit organization. Proceeds from the festival to the City of Madeira Beach and the Pinellas County Schools.

The Festival helps promote the social and economic impact on the seafood industry in Pinellas County. Visitors will get a seafood lesson and understand the importance that seafood has on the local economy. The Festival gives visitors and the residents of Pinellas County a reason to visit Madeira Beach. Not only do visitors get to have fun, but they learn something new.

In addition to the Seafood Festival, the Pass offers a variety of Christmas festivities. One of the most popular is the annual Christmas Parade on the water. Visitors can also get their picture taken with Rudolph the Turtle over at the Alligator Attraction.

Look for the Seafood Festival every year during the last weekend in October. The perfect time for seafood and Halloween candy!
